Dr. Harun Otieno
Dr. Otieno worked in Texas, USA prior to returning to kenya in late 2008. A graduate of
the University of Nairobi, he completed his medical school training in 1995. He received
his postgraduate medical training in Internal Medicine, General Cardiology and
Interventional Cardiology in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA completing his training in
2006.
He has full Board Certification by the (ABIM) American Board of Internal Medicine
in Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear
Cardiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. The kenya Medical
Practitioners Board has granted him Specialist Recognition status in Cardiology/Internal
Medicine.
Dr. Patel
Dr. Patel graduated with an MBChB from Liverpool University in 1981. After completing
his internship, he rotated through various medical specialities in the Liverpool group
of teaching hospitals. The MRCP was passed in 1985 while working in Cardiology and
Respiratory Medicine in North Yorkshire and was became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh.
He is recognised by the Kenya Medical and Dental Practitioners Board as a specialist in
Cardiology and Internal Medicine. He has been certified for pacemaker, ICD and CRT
implantation after training in Germany and is also involved in invasive and non-invasive
cardiovascular disease diagnosis and treatment.
